Fisher, IL (March 14, 2023):The Fisher Community Fair is excited to announce the mainstage concert for the 2022 fair! Headlining this year is the ‘90s hitmaker, Lonestar. With nine No. 1 hits, songs like "Unusually Unusual," "Tequila Talkin'," "Everything's Changed," "Say When" and "Heartbroke Every Day" have kept the band consistently on the country charts, making them one of the most well-known groups in the genre. Their greatest hits album even included a cover of the popular song "Walking in Memphis."
Opening the show will be a 2022 Spotify “Hot Country Artist to Watch” and Class of 2022 SiriusXM “Highway Find,” Chase Wright.
The concert will take place at the Fisher Fairgrounds in Fisher, Illinois. Gates open at 6:30 PM and the show will begin at 7:30 PM. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 8 AM and will be available online at www.fisherfair.com.
About Fisher Community Fair: The first Fisher Community Fair idea was conceived in 1941 by the Condit 4-H Club. A.A. Jones was the Leader of the Condit 4-H club, the East Bend Brownies, Jess D. Naffzigger, leader and the High School FFA Chapter, Marshall J. Scott, Advisor, for the purpose of permitting the Farm Youth Organizations (FYO) to exhibit their work and to help build a cooperative spirit in the community. That was the early beginnings and has continued to be a non-profit fair. Since that time, it has grown into a community institution under the leadership of several different committees.
